2013 Fundraiser results

Hi all you Cross country race Lovers!
 
You guys are the best club members ever! thanks to our fundraiser we can now afford rent for a year without too much worry!  we had a few items not meet the reserves I set, but most of what i had out there  sold. I'll be putting last minutes items into auctions later next week, and see if we can't get rid of it all.

2 of the limited buggies i had auctions did not sell, so i gave them away last night, or will. Event wise we had 37 people attend the event, and a total of 77 entries for the drawing.  winners were, #67. wndlynn, #44. twistiez, #9. musicmom.

As for funds, we raised a total of 778,313, between sales and Tips, and some of you that sent ccr_Gina, or EmmaJean money.

I/ we now have enough Ts for a years rent to keep Bananaphone, possibly to submit and give away some special CCR items,  Like the new Boats JS made for us, or other new items that might be in the works. 'wink

CCR Twilight Race

CCR 2013 annual Fundraiser

Some of you are familiar with CCR or Cross Country Racers in There.com. We started the club in about October of 2003, when I mentioned to my friend Carpenter how much I hated racing in Funzones. I thought how silly going in circles was, when there was all this country side to race on.  He said he thought he could design a race over the land, and in a few weeks he had. We have had regular races with drawings since then. After the relaunch of There, I was quick to restart the club, and restart the regular events, because I know many of you missed them as much as I did. Even though i could not commit to a weekly race this time around, I am still having events every other Friday.  The first and third Friday of each month.  If there had not closed for that short time, we would be going on our 10th year, soon.

Cross Country Racers is one of the  oldest still running Clubs in There.com, and I need you help! In order to keep the club at its present location, not only did i need donations of some awesome things, I need members to bid, and bid high! SuperHeroes vs Villans CCR ( May 3)

SuperHeroes vs Villans CCR
Friday, May 3, 8pm - Midnight eastern

Will you race for good or evil? pick a side, pick a vehicle, pick a race? fun for all!

Another Cross Country Race where you will have to READ the clues.  Once you pick a side and if you like, dress the part, you will port to the location of your race. There will be 2 races running, one for the Heroes, and one for the villians. Both races will have difficult spots for the clues. you may have to run, jump, fly, go into FunZones or buildings, and even avoid each other, because anything goes in this race. No exceessive greifing, please. but don't be surprised, if you have to climb a rock or two. so READ the clues to get Hints & tips on finding them. This time you will need more than a map to finish.

I do not have a sponsor for this race, so if anyone like to sponsor with a vehicle or  vehicles that a  hero or a villain might drive, or have, please contact me.

April CCR ~ It's my birthday! ~
